The Victory hall was opened at New Year 1921 in celebration of the end of the war, with considerable help by local benefactor Lewis Starkey of Dunnamara.

Part of the old hall still exists, as a cosy community reading, music, and meeting room plus the newly renovated bar and meeting room, named for one of the halls longest standing committee members : Gordon Cruickshank.

1921 - "The hall which was built to hold about 300 people, and furnished with kitchen, ante room, lavatories and cloakrooms and cinema annexe, has cost upwards of £1500.  It was constructed under the direction of Mr G Woulfe Brenan, C.E. Oban"

The New Hall with its associated kitchen, toilets, stage and individual bar for functions, as well as the Broadfoot room was opened in 1999.
This has been home to weddings, childrens parties, weekly badminton, horticultural shows and sales, carpet bowls, community markets, theatre performances, concerts, talks, polling station and much more over the decades.
Such is the versatility of the venue it is often affectionately referred to as the Benderloch Palladium
